Habitat: This species grows in coniferous and deciduous forests, and can usually be found in groups.
Growth time: Can be found in the forests from the beginning of the summer, until the end of autumn.Description: The cap is thick, fleshy and firm. It usually comes in a shade of yellow or orange. The underside is densely covered with small, slender whitish spines that are mostly the same color as the cap and are quite fragile. These spines sometimes run down at least one side of the stipe. The stem is also quite sturdy and has the same color as the cap. Spore - print is white.
