Latin name: Cantharellus cibarius

Habitat: inhabits coniferous forests from late spring to autumn, inhabits deciduous forests, growing in groups.

Description: characteristic yellow color cap slightly darker than the stalk and gill-like ridges that run almost all the way down its stipe, cap usually no larger than 5-6 cm, smell pleasant and reminiscent of the fruit.
